Animal Crossing: New Horizons gets a Halloween update

The next Animal Crossing: New Horizons update already has a chosen theme and date. The event takes place on Halloween, and starting September 30, you can grow pumpkins and use them in your scary projects, with the addition of various Halloween costumes at Able Sisters’ shop.

The preparation also includes other novelties, such as the arrival of Jack, the “Halloween Tsar”, who will appear on the island for the first time, allowing him to be exchanged for rewards such as candy and lollipops to share with the islanders.

Your Nook Miles will be used to purchase body paints and colored contact lenses that enhance the Halloween costumes you learn to create with other companions on the island.

As the fall update will be quite large, minigames featuring islanders, furniture and DIY projects are also expected for the game. Some rumors suggest that Franklin and Brewster will appear in Animal Crossing during the update.

While preparations begin next week, the main Halloween event will take place on October 31st, from 5pm to midnight, giving you time to do a little bit of whatever is reserved for you in the Nintendo Switch game.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons proved to be a resounding success for the Japanese giant, promoting Nintendo’s 428% profit along with the Switch, console in which the game is exclusive.
