Britain will be drowned in radioactive tsunami missile strike, Kremlin propaganda warns

Dmitry Kiselyov warned that Russia’s Satan 2 missile would hit Britain first and would be followed by its underwater Poseidon missile, which would blast 500-metre tsunami waves over Britain

Dmitry Kiselyov threatened Britain after false claims were made in Moscow that the prime minister was planning to attack the Kremlin

One of Vladimir Putin’s henchmen says Britain will be “thrown into the sea” as he ranted that Russia could send 500m radioactive tidal waves across the nation.

Dmitry Kiselyov, who has been described as the tyrant’s chief propagandist, told Russian state television the Kremlin would strike first with its hypersonic missile known as the Satan-2.

And in scenes straight out of the cheesiest sci-fi movie on DVD, he added that an attack with his “underwater robotic drone” known as Poseidon would follow.

He reckons the weapon would send a huge tsunami to mainland Britain, turning the country into a “radioactive wasteland”.

The threat came after Russian media made false claims that Boris Johnson had threatened the Kremlin with a nuclear strike.

Kiselyov, who made his best impression of a James Bond villain, said on his talk show Vesti Nedeli: “What will happen according to Boris Johnson’s words about a retaliatory strike against Russia?

“Why are they threatening huge Russia with nuclear weapons when they are just a small island? The island is so small that one Sarmat missile is enough to drown it once and for all.

“Russian missile Sarmat [aka Satan-2]the most powerful in the world… is capable… of destroying an area the size of Texas or England.

“One start, Boris, and there is no more England. Once and for all. Why are they playing games?”

Kiselyov – who is reportedly being watched closely by Putin along with another outspoken propagandist, Vladimir Solovyov – added: “Another possibility for Britain to be plunged into the depths of the sea is through the Russian underwater robotic drone Poseidon.

“It approaches the target at a depth of one kilometer at a speed of 200 kilometers per hour [125mph]. There is no way to stop this underwater drone.

“It has a warhead with a capacity of up to 100 megatons.

“The explosion of this thermonuclear torpedo near the British coast will send up a huge wave, a tsunami, up to 500 meters [1,640ft] high.

“This tidal wave is also a carrier of extremely high doses of radiation.

“If it sweeps across Britain, it will turn what’s likely left of them into a radioactive wasteland, permanently useless for anything.”

Downing Street last week dismissed its apparent impending attack on Russia as “another example of disinformation being spread by the Kremlin”.

Sarmat’s 208-ton Satan-2 hypersonic ICBM has a speed of 15,880 miles per hour and is described by the Kremlin leader as “unstoppable.”

The Poseidon being readied for deployment is described as a huge nuclear-capable torpedo.

Details of the 200 km/h fast underwater propulsion system of the nuclear-powered underwater drone are considered top secret.

Putin has boasted about having “unlimited reach,” saying three years ago “work is going according to plan.”

Dmitry Rogozin, head of Russia’s Roscosmos space agency, said last week: “Boris, if Sarmat is used, none of you will consult.

“And there will be no one to style your hair, Prime Minister.”
