A young Briton was reportedly stabbed to death at a house party in Spain after a fight.
Spanish media have reported that a British man believed to be around 18 years old was found with fatal stab wounds late Thursday October 1st after in Cuidad Quesada near Alicante on the Costa Blanca a fight had broken out.
The victim was reportedly spotted on the street after running outside for help but collapsed.
The suspect is said to have fled the scene.
The olive press, a Spanish expat newspaper, has reported that the Guardia Civil is conducting a manhunt after the incident.
The victim is believed to be a young man from the Woodvale area of Southport, who is approximately 18 years old.
He is known in the Southport area Liverpool echo.
The Olive Press reported that a fight broke out in Quesada during a house party.
Local police said the victim was “stabbed in the neck” after the brawl “took to the streets”.
Ciudad Quesada is a popular tourist hotspot located about 8 kilometers inland from the Costa Blanca in Guardamar de la Segura.
The area has a golf course and its own water park. The Blue Flag beaches are a 10-minute drive away.
