The Xiaomi 12 UltraSaid to be the Chinese brand’s most powerful model for 2022, it is expected to have up to four rear cameras housed in a huge round module, very different from the current Mi 11 Ultra. This is evident from the renderings that LetsGoDigital released this Monday (13).
Based on cases leaked last week, presumably belonging to Xiaomi’s new flagship, the design shows a module that refers to the Nokia Lumia 1020, with space for four lenses and without the second display of the current model. The main sensor appears centered, while the others appear around it
There are still no technical details about the cameras of the Mi 12 Ultra, but it is believed that the main lens will have 50 MP (some say 200 MP). The manufacturer is likely to scale up the new Samsung ISOCELL GN5 sensor, replacing the line’s GN2 launched this year.
As for the other cameras, rumors point to the use of an ultra-wide-angle lens and a periscopic telephoto lens, in addition to a second zoom or monochrome lens. The remaining spaces in the module should be occupied by the flash, color sensor and autofocus.
120 Hz display and fast charging battery
Rumors about the Xiaomi 12 Ultras data sheet indicates that the new top of the range from the Chinese giant will have a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, with QHD + resolution and 120 Hz frequency. The panel should have a small hole for the selfie camera and contain the fingerprint reader.
It is expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, stereo speakers with Harman Kardon technology and Android 12. Another speculated detail concerns the 5,000 mAh battery, which will be able to count on a fast charging of 120W, although the 200W charger will not be thrown away.
